Cory Jones -

“I have been playing fastpitch softball since I was four or five years old, starting my minor ball years in Leduc. I went on to play Senior Men’s with the Lloydminster Dodgers, now the Grande Prairie Pirates. Over the years, I’ve competed in multiple Alberta Summer Games and was a member of Team Alberta at the Western Canada Summer Games.

In 2008, I had the honor of being selected for the Junior Men’s National Team, where we earned a silver medal at the World Championship. More recently, I’ve been a member of the Canadian Men’s National Team since 2022, competing in the Pan Am Qualifier in Argentina and the World Cup in New Zealand, where we brought home another silver medal. In 2024, I once again represented Canada at the World Cup Qualifier in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Outside of playing, I’m in my ninth year as a teacher and provide both individual and group hitting instruction in the Edmonton area.”
